"REDUCING HARM FROM UNSAFE ABORTION" (2015)
A 16-page illustrated book to clarify usage of misoprostal pills for women who do not qualify for legal abortion in Thailand. The book comes in three versions—English and Thai for the counselors to follow, Burmese and Karen for patients—and breaks down the reasons women may need to take misoprostal into an empatheic narrative. The book also gives illustrated instructions for taking the pills. I was the creative director on this project, making a storyboard for two Burmese artists to follow, and approving their work before sending it to focus groups. I also worked alongside various translators in Mae Sot while completing the layout.
