Trying to go to Kinderdijk with a minimum of planning turned out to be a stupid idea. There's so many trains, buses and trams traversing the Netherlands that I took on a false sense of security...I assumed that there would always be one when I needed it, rather than carefully noting the schedule. Luckily the sun is out until nearly 10PM during a Holland summer so being extremely delayed & semi-lost did not equal being afraid.
