Kevin's deep appreciation for Buddhism began last year with a trip to Asia. Upon returning, he was surprised to see the new Loka Chantha pagoda near his longtime home in New Jersey. He met the New Jersey temple's chief monk Ashin Pyinnya Thiha when emerging to get his mail, and one year of meditation training later, became ordained as a temporary monk on Buddha Day.
